Dam & Hydropower

Dam & Hydropower Department of Yekom undertakes the study, design and supervision of various types of dams including arch dam, earth dam, rock fill dam and concrete face rock fill dam together with relevant hydro power plants. In this department beside the use of conventional and updated structure design software, special procedure is being used for analysis and interpretation of dam body and large structures. Meanwhile stability analysis and rehabilitation of old dams are carried out including renovation and modernization of equipments and gates.
Today, Yekom has numerous dam design schemes, dam renovation and power plants in hand. The firm has reached to a satisfactory level, both scientifically and technically, so that can handle any size and types of dam design in all over the world.
Yekom’s Dam & Hydropower Department has been involved in numerous significant domestic projects as well as few other overseas ones, and now expanding services to render in adjacent neighbour countries.
